Shag-A-Way is an oceanfront, 4 bedrooms (Q*Q*2S*S, BB), 2.5 bath single family on one level located on the western end of Emerald Isle, convenient to shopping, restaurants and the bicycle path. Nicely decorated with spacious, open great room offering wonderful ocean views! Kitchen is stocked with basic essentials and appliances. Enjoy the 65" Smart TV in the great room. Large, ocean front deck with covered and un-covered sitting areas.

Eastern Side of the Home:

Bedroom 1 has queen bed, TV, and access to the ocean side deck.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a hall bath with a walk-in shower.

Western Side of the Home:

Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, TV, and access to the ocean side deck.

Bedroom 4 has a single bed and a bunk bed (3 singles total).

Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a hall bath with a tub/shower.

There is also a half bath off this hallway- near the kitchen.

Linens provided with weekly rentals.
Rents Saturday to Saturday.
No Smoking!
No Pets!

Great house, perfect location

So nice to be able to walk right onto the (uncrowded) beach! House was just right for our family (mom, dad, 5 teens). Everything we needed was there. Running/biking trail close-by making it easy to exercise, get to groceries and shopping.

Love the Cottage!

We love the cottage Shag a way. It is clean and well organized. The location is perfect for us to visit Swansboro and Morehead City. We are returning next summer.

Fantastic Beach Getaway!

Shag-a-Way is a fabulous beach house located directly on the beach. The ocean front view was magnificent! My favorite part of the trip was being to walk from the house straight onto the beach. Just fabulous! The house is bright and airy, good layout.

The Shorewood folks have always been super friendly, helpful, and concerned that our stay is a good one. Prompt to respond to problems etc. Shag-A-Way is a great beachfront home that is spacious, clean and comfortable. We continue to rent this property

Relaxing

The location was great. The views of the ocean were beautiful. The furniture was a little uncomfortable. The deck furniture need some padding for my skinny bony body

Relaxing Private Family Vacation

We found this cottage to be extremely clean and just a perfect beach cottage for a family vacation. We absolutely loved the section of the beach and the private beach access. Every night, we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset over the ocean
