The Property Management division began when our real estate clients began asking us to manage the properties we helped them purchase. We work with all our property management clients to identify objectives and goals and can customize our management to suit each client’s needs.
We are always available to discuss ways our clients can maximize their rental income and provide specific ideas while considering their circumstances and goals.

Our Story
Shorewood Real Estate began in 1987 and opened our current office in 1996 when Shorewood’s Founder, Darlene Larson, joined forces with daughters, Danielle Register and Michelle Daffron, who continue to bring their unique talents to the management and daily operation of the business.
Darlene has been an active real estate agent in Carteret County since 1982. Both Danielle and Michelle grew up in Emerald Isle and also developed a passion for real estate.
Prior to starting Shorewood Darlene Larson was a teacher, a licensed estate and business planner.
Today Shorewood remains a family owned and operated business dedicated to helping your family find the perfect vacation rental, permanent home or investment property in Emerald Isle, Carteret County and the surrounding areas.
