Emerald Isle is located at the southwestern
tip of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The island is the
last inhabited island in the barrier island chain, and is
flanked by two large uninhabited islands, giving Emerald Isle
a true island feel.
Emerald Isle is a part of the Crystal Coast,
a 24 mile long island home to Emerald Isle, Indian Beach,
Salter Path, Pine Knoll Shores and Atlantic Beach. The island
is serviced by two causeways at the eastern and western ends
of the island. Because of the easy access to the island, you
will find that getting on and off the island during the summer
months is without the traffic congestion you normally encounter
with other parts of the Outer Banks.

- Exit 119A. (HWY 264 east) towards Wilson/Greenville
NC
- Continue on 264 East ot Exit #49 (right)
to HWY 58 South
- HWY 58 South to Snow Hill, NC
- Snow Hill ~ Turn Right on HWY 258 (bypass)
at the (Bojangle's Restaurant)
- Continue on HWY 258 until you reach the
intersection of HWY 70 East & 258 Bypass
- Turn left on HWY 70 East toward Kinston,
NC
- Continue on HWY 70 East through Kinston
(Stay in the right lane) to avoid Downtown Kinston
- Turn right on HWY 58 South. Look for
Emerald Isle sign, 59 miles (McDonalds is on the left across
intersection)
- Follow signs for HWY 58 South through
Trenton, Pollocksville, Maysville, and Cape Carteret
- HWY 58 South turns into Emerald Drive.
Cross over the High Rise Bridge and you are in Emerald Isle.
Check in at Shorewood Real Estate approximately 2.5 miles
from the bridge on the right

- Exit 52A (NC 24) towards Clinton
- Merge onto NC-24 on the outskirts of
Clinton
- Turn Left onto US-701 Business Route/NC-24
- Turn Right onto NC-24
- Follow NC-24 into Warsaw
- Turn slightly to the Right on NC-24/NC-50
Kenansvile HWY
- Follow 24/50 to Kenansville
- Turn left onto NC-11/NC-24
- Follow the NC-24 signs through Kenansville
- Continue to follow NC-24 for approximately
61 miles past Jacksonville and Swansboro
- Turn Right onto HWY 58
- HWY 58 South turns into Emerald Drive.
Cross over the High Rise Bridge and you are in Emerald Isle.
